Introducing our new team + upcoming features

Dear clients,

We are glad to announce our new team. I (Eddie) have been in charge of the whole company for quite some months. Initially, Ricardo from FansCity was joining our support team but due to some differences we could not make any deal. For some personal issues and lack of time I did not have the time for Host4Fans that was required and customers did not deserve this treat. For this reason, I have been looking for new staff to handle support requests. Two new members have been added to the Host4Fans family: Tom and Joe (UK and Canada), as they work on different time zones we expect to provide support almost 24h.

These last couple days they have been working on optimizing the servers, and learning how we work here and how close we are to the fansite community. Since today, they will start to reply tickets and working on getting everything up-to-date.

We have also planned new features and changed Host4Fans image (from social networks to web/blogs and client area), Host4Fans have reborned today and we have our all energies charged to be the best Fansite Hosting online.

Unfortunately, not everything are good news,ย  due to the latest cPanel price increase, we are forced to temporally close our Free Fansite Hosting, revenue was non-existent and it was cutting time to reply our paid customers (who were also paying for our free tier). Existing free customers will still have their sites hosted with us and receive support and we are looking for alternatives to re-open our Free Fansite Hosting section. We are NOT planning to change our control panel on paid plans.

We are also introducing new features soon:

  • Licenses issues have already been solved.
  • Imunify360 will be installed in our servers:ย  Imunify360 offers advanced firewall protection that uses cloud heuristics and artificial intelligence to detect new threats and protect all servers that run the software. The firewall is capable of defending against brute force attacks, DoS attacks, and port scans.The firewall tightly integrates with mod_security web application firewalls to dramatically enhance its usefulness. In combination with WAF, we can stop the majority of web application attacks even before they start. An advanced Captcha system is employed to reduce false positives and make sure that valid customers can reach your website. Imunify is expected to be installed in our server this month.
  • New “Moon” server with SSD drives to provide the best speed. Expected around Black Friday.
  • Live Chat support will be offered on our website and client area once our ticket support is settled.

Thanks for everyone who stayed during our rough times, our commitment is to become the best fansite hosting and we want to apologize to everyone who had a bad experience with us and how much it took to solve the issues.

  1. I have been hosted with you guys since 2016, never had a single issue (of course, a few downtimes from time to time and some errors as any other company). It is true this years -specially the last 6 months-, support have been quite slow and some errors pop up but my sites are almost 600GB and I’m just paying $10/mo, there is no other hosting company with this features at this price.

  2. Wish I knew about this before I moved 3 sites to Flaunt, had to move them from a different paid host as they were taking up a lot of space!

  4. Good, hopefully you have learned you don’t treat paying customers like this. If you can’t run a paid hosting site then simply don’t run one. To take peoples money and not give them what they are paying for is stealing.

    1. We have indeed improved a lot, we ran into a few issues that is why our support was slow, but we have been month with 24/7 support. Thanks for your review.
